Post in here if you have still have and running a Unichip.

I want to see who here still has a bucking jerking issue with the Unichip installed.
Normal overboost fuel cut is when it goes over 12 psi past 5000 rpm.

The ones that have a bad harness usually still have this problem even at stock psi boost.
If you still have a jerking/bucking issue only with the Unichip installed and sometimes throws a CEL. You may need this resistor fix.

me! lol currently not installed because of this issue but i think i may have a leak somewhere! is this something that will be fixed with the tune? its not just a buck i get more of just a complete epic fail when i hit boost!

no! i dont believe so. i had just gotten my wideband intalled and wanted to check my readings with the unichip but it just wouldnt let me hit boost without cutting out!

thankfully, after a long while with the unit sent back to unichip, my unichip seems to be working fine. stock boost or high(er) boost, i only go up to about 9 on high boost with my forge wga. I had the bucking problems before i sent it back in to unichip.

Hopefully sometime soon i can get a wideband and take it to you sam to get it tuned...

I've had mine in for a about a year and a half without issue. I don't use the EBC, and am currently running 9psi

I am still running it and I did have to do the resistor fix. Seemed to help it on low boost. Still hit fuel cut at high boost though.

There was a bad batch of harnesses when installed it would throw a CEL for crankshaft or camshaft position sensor. Just some FYI for those users that have this problem.

I am currenlty running a Unichip on the high boost setting (10psi) I get boost cut occasionally around 6k and I do throw a CEL. This is all weird b'c its tuned to pull the boost back down to 6psi after 6k to try to prevent the boost cut. Dont really know know why Im getting a CEL! The CEL is usually for a faulty MAF but I just replaced the MAf and it still throws a CEL. Any ideas?

Take the Unichip off completely and run it for a few hundred miles and see if the code comes back.

im running it, although i cant get the boost controler to work. probably dont have it hooked up right ><

You're only using the 2 small vacuum ports not the big one on the solenoid.
You can leave that hooked up to nothing. 1 end goes to vacuum and 1 to the actuator. The instructions say to tie it into the intake breather line but that is not necessary.

Did you buy it used? It may not be turned on in the programming or the switches maybe not be connected correctly.

Keeping an eye on this thread in case I ever decide to up the boost that high and have issues. No such problems here though.
