Here's a pic of my current engine bay... nothing amazing or hard mods on engine... a little dirty too but I liked how looks right now... the strut tower bar was the last thing I added...

A little off topic, but do you have a picture of the rear badge on your car? "Allegro" sounds fun

yeah... here's a pic of allegro badge (it's really a sticker)... I changed it for a familia badge, then I put the old allegro sticker on top of my computer's case hehehe

allegro it's an italian word for fast

That's an interesting name for a car dealership Marshall. It just happens to be the same as the last person that posted (kansei). I hope you don't mind me posting it from protege323.

Hahahahaha I know its FORD blue my other car is a 66 Mustang and my motor in there is the same blue.

LOL :D

yeah, i was thinking about some of the other caps and stuff thats under there as well but i dont know how well the paint will stick. and by the way, the bar use to be yellow off of a p5 and had chips and scratches in it, but I like the blue better, and it matches my fogs!

MP3's came with yellow bars.
Protege5's came with red
MSP's came with silver.

The P5 you got it from swapped it out at some time. I did the same thing. I swapped my red one for a silver one out of a MSP.

They are all the same bar just different colors for the different models.

And how hard was it to paint your valve cover? And nice strut bar paint job, I didnt think of that! but I coudnt find silver high temp paint either though!

Headers were bought on here in a group buy back in 2004 for $200. Ractive header. I had them jet hot coated before I ever installed them.

The valve cover is painted with the exact same paint that is on my hood, roof, wing, rims, stripe down the side, my grilles & headlights. Its a custom mix automotive paint that is black with a blue mica in it.

I used caliper paint to paint mine black. Your strut bar doesnt get too too hot so you're safe with an average temp paint.

That valve cover looks awesome, and gotta love the classic mustard and mountian dew in there too! Your paint is hot too, I wanna get some coustom paint on mine too, did you do it yourself?

Thanks.

A friend and I did it in the garage. I helped prep it and he did all the rest. I have a ton of pictures about it on a thread here. Just do a search for threads started by me and you'll find it.

I also did a write up on my cardomain page.
