Anyone know how to disconnect the cruise control line from the cruise control vaccume or from the fire wall? I am removing the cruise control right now so need this info ASAP

Its tricky - you have to pull off the rubber cover thingy and then you should be able to see how to remove it. It involves some twisting, pushing, etc.

Its the same kind of connection that is on the throttle cable. You slide the white locking tab back and twist the black plastice thing below it, But I don't know what to do from there??

Are you talking about the black rubber cover where the wire go's into the fire wall??

Nope, mine had a rubber cover over the connection between the cable and the cruise control unit. I couldn't get the cable off so I removed that cover and it made everything really easy - I could see exactly what I needed.

Ive always wondered...you have to have straight pipe with no cat to get fire?

You have to be running rich as hell to overwhelm a working cat enough to backfire. I am just running kinda lumpy timing so I am have unburnt fuel in my exhaust... Something I want to fix very soon.
