(ughdance) now you've got me wondering..everything that could go wrong with my car has..i don't want something else. ...but those are sexy and look awesome.

it's been about two weeks since the install...my car runs as well as it did before, no difference either way...and ya it was more a look thing...i just couldn't bring myself to put the stock wires back on the new cover....i'll let you know if anything changes either way, but i would think i'd have noticed the difference by now?

yeha i would think so as well...even if it does nothing. the whole setup adds to the motor bay i think.

Eh....but it shows Mark. It's one sweet P5.

you guys are too kind! off to do an oil and filter change...oh and reinstall my off season wheels/tire...i put them on the wrong side of the car so they're going backwards...i thought i heard a lot of tire noise...i put them on in the dark the other night and didn't notice the direction arrows!! (pissed)

Hmm good to know about the wires. But yah, like said before, 'one sweet P5'.

The wires can go either way, nologies arent bad for you but some of the nology like wire sets on ebay can be harmful.

ima try to get one more clean pic of the bay before I trade it in for the MS3 in the next month or 2....

so i broke down and got some ebay wires...

the damn things dont even like hook in to the coil packs... theyre ****** completely...

i just wish some one could make them cheaper than 200!!! i want nology... but im not spendiong that much money...

so I finally took a pic of my new set-up, its not complete, but it not too much more will be happening. here is the pic I posted on the third page a long time ago and how it looked at mazdapalooza

Havn't spent much time under the hood lately :( I've got a spare valve cover that I'm having powdercoated red w/ polished lettering along with the strut bar. When I can block out a good chunk of time, I'll install my jspec intake cam and sr exhaust cam and top them off with the new cover.

Wait ... two MAF's?! Is the first one gutted so you can keep using the cai before you replace it with a piece of tubing, or is something else going on?

unfortunately the intake MAF is the functional one at the moment, I relocated the MAF and used a spare to fill in the section on the CAI since it was an exact size replacement, but my car didn't run right with it relocated. It was smooth as long as I stayed out of boost, so the only thing I can figure out is since I have the boost turned up it is cooling the wire off too quickly and causing fuel cut. So I am running in the stock location now and the second MAF is now the space filler til I can order couplers to put the pipe I cut back into place. I am lazy, so who knows when that will be.

Nothing special- OBX header, heat wrap insulated intake w/ K&N and a strut bar from a P5.
