LOL LOL.
Don't feel bad. I just messed up my Speed the other night. Pretty bad I must say. Coming home right by my house too.
The road was wet, only right at this turn though it wasnt raining. Everyone knows the MSP can take a turn pretty fast w/o breaking a sweat.
So I take this turn w/o slowing down and downshifting to 2nd probably at 30some MPH , road is wet and i instantly start sliding and heading for a curb. Luckily the curb had a little lower part for a sidewalk so it wasnt as high as the curb in all places. ( i dunno if thats confusing but it wasnt all as tall as a curb.)
I have no traction and was sliding really fast and sat right up in the middle of the curb like my car was posing for a picture.
DAMAGE: I bent the inside of the passenger front rim bad( has to be replaced), and bent the inside of the driver side front rim but not bad at all, no crack. My passenger side skirt is screwed up and has to be sanded and painted. I have a nice scratch on the lower passenger door, that looks like someone keyed it. And my alignment is scrwed. HMMM. what else, oh yea my damn BC2 FB, is missing a little piece on the front part at the bottom and on the side vent, it is broken almost that i could rip it off.
Thats about it lol, no sub frame damage or anything but who knows, there could be a little damage. My mechanic at Mazda the only one who touches my car, looked at it and says theres no other damage, everything looks good but when he does the alignment he'll make sure. Already tried to do the alignment 2 times at my friends shop (tire Kingdom), that didnt work cuz my car would pull to the right, then after alignment it pulled to the left, and now it pulls to the right again but not hard like it was after the curb accident.
So I've learned my lesson with wet roads. Funny though since thats how I wrecked my last car but because its bald ass tires and was raining. #$%@#& i'M PISSED but it was my fault so, s*** happens.
