Here's a few pics. Sorry they're blurry, but I had no tripod. You get the idea...

Led's were mounted at the rear of cupholders, shining forward. Liek I said, perfect color match, and I linked them to the gauge dimmer so they dim down. Also note I have the flip-style cupholders and not the new MSP style. Should be no difference though. During the day, no one can even find where the light is coming from, I used REAL small LEDs.

that's cool thanks for the pictures!

They suck, I kinda need to do it at dusk instead of dark, but you get the idea. I can't believe more people haven't done this. Took me like 30 mins, and it makes bottles of water glow! It's phat. Chicks dig it.

I'll write one someday. Honestly, you don't need one though. Jsut get LEDs, drill holes just big enough, glue them in, and run the wires to your dimmer switch. Or jsut 12V if you don't care about that. Voila. There's your how-to.

I have to add one for my key socket. There's a stamped circle where there should be a light in mine.

you guages wired to your dimmer switch also? i don't want to blow a fuse or anything.

LEDs have a very low draw, so you don't have to worry about the load just for a couple LEDs.

Yes, gauges wired to dimmer also. They're not LED though. 3 194 bulbs.

i chose white over blue since i use the LED to read stuff in the dark if i need too but everything else is blue

even the keylight is blue!

this is true you can get LEDs for the screw in bulbs for your house too

Regular 60W bulb = 60W
Spiral type bulb 60w (Equiv) = 11-13W (depending on brand)
36 LED bulb (55-60W equiv) = 0.5-0.8W (yes zero point five)

you could leave 2 led bulbs on for the entire year and have it cost like 20 bux
