CSRT4- MS3's arch nemesis? The new car *long post*

Yes, there are limits with mods on a daily. The SRT6 wasn't an unfit daily driver because of it's mods so much as it's rwd setup and lack of cargo capacity. The latter was the primary reason.

FWD is much easier to manage in slippery conditions and the Caliber can eat up some cargo with the seats down!

Already on order- and being installed this week! (sans the MS1):
- Mopar Stage 1
- Needswings Short-Ram intake
- Lightweight Crank Pulley
- Mopar Blow off plate (for good ol' SRT4 "sound")
- Catch can
- Strut bar
- Mopar Sways
- Solid engine mount
- MPx downpipe
- Pillar pod with AEM wideband/Aeroforce Scanguage (similar to the Dashhawk but in a gauge form-factor)
(band2)

Replaced my "rams head" badges with something a little more....cool (or nerdy, depends on who you ask) lol

thumbs up for getting me interested in a car i normally wouldn't be. keep us updated, it looks great!

Hey thank you! If anyone local want's to meet up and go to the track when it opens back up let me know. I'm from South Jersey/Gloucester County and Atco Raceway is the nearest track!

now the autobot emblems are bad ass.

im a transformers fan as well and have been trying to find a way to add some dececticon logos to the MS3 w/o it looking retarded

Somehow I missed this. Congrats on the purchase. There is a black Caliber SRT4 I see around town all the time. Not a bad looking car at all.

Thanks- yeah the Dodge has the perfect "badge" shape and it's even indented so it sits almost flush with the panel.

The site I got it from was 24designs.com FYI

Definitely a nice looking ride and heck of deal that you found there. Those are some of the best looking stock wheels that I have seen. ATCO is responsible for my driving style at times, as I spent many a weekend there long ago.

Subbing to see what you get this one to do and how the build progresses.

Oh yeah?! You were originally in South Jersey?

Ecoboost?

Unfortunately no. I bought a left-over before the Ecoboost ones hit the showrooms. I DID get 0% interest on it though. Polarizing style but it truly is a wonderful vehicle. Never thought I'd own a Ford.

PS I saw a YT video of a Ecoboost Flex running a low 14 in the 1/4 stock. Not bad! I wonder if they are going to offer aftermarket tuning options for it considering it's 6cyldr twin-turbo platform. That would be be a hillarous sleeper. (wiggle)

PPS Thanks for fixing the link!

There is a black srt caliber a few blocks from my house and I secretly dig it. I never let the guy know though because he is kind of a tool.

Is every dam car in the world able to pull huge gains with a few upgrades, and a warrany covered tune, except ours !!!!! Man thats kind of frustrating, but its a pretty nice deal for the power you get.

Someday, when Mazda stops making it's engines out of glass, we too will reap huge power gains and straight line speed. Until then, we will delight in handling and chassis feel!(rockon)
