cp-e tow plate? easier then i thought?

i heard there was a way of installing this without the hassle of taking off the front bumper. i searched here and on the mazdaspeed forums where i heard the how-to was. i was unable to find it can anyone please help me with this or give me any advice.

hey man i just installed mine last week with no problem it took me like 10-15 min and i didnt have to get bumper off. play with it and you'll see i dont know why people be nuking it. pm me if you have any more questions

Seems like a nice looking product, but the one I ordered was defective. The threading on the bolt that goes into the hole for the tow hook was wrong, and it ended up getting stuck in there for me. I had to take my bumper off to get it out, and the piece was completely ruined. Thanks to Ken at ProtegeGarage, he was able to get me a refund since the product was defective.

As long as your main bolt's threading is the correct size, I would consider this a simple install.

i took bolt cutters to my tow hitch tapped the top covered it with a foam handle from a rake and screwed my plate into it. it worked out sweet. FRRRREEEEEEEE. lol.
