Cp-e Standback whos got one ??

will it save and export maps? you can make and save as many maps (really not maps, but tunes) as you want - as far as exporting, exporting to what? a different kind of software, what for? the tunes are just files you save on your hd
as in do a tune for wet nasty power IE why most people get one - it won't do any thing on it's own - it comes with a slightly more aggressive then stock tune that levels the boost at 17psi after it's spike - it's only as good as the person using it if you want to go further then that

and do a tune for conservative highway fuel economy - again depends on what you or your tuner knows
and dead stock for the inevitable return to the realm of mazda NA -any time you would disconnect the standback you would be back to dead stock b/c it's a piggyback that works by tricking you sensors to make the ecu do what you want to do - it doesn't flash the chips and changes are only happening if it's connected - but if you want to be able to disconnect and reconnect it easy you have to shell out another $500 for the pnp harness - otherwise it's hardwired to your ecu plugs
and be able to load either one from usb or whatever?
it's wired in and has a usb output to your computer where you use the cpe software to do whatever you want to do - it doesn't work w/out your own laptop -

I saw on the website it will go from car to car
that means it doesn't enslave your ecu like the cobb

sounds less user friendly though
also the cable is separate

map storage would be on the laptop then??

i gots one and cant imagine not having one.... variable boost table solved my partial throttle knock.... plus my car pulls like a mofo now....
