CP-E MS6 dual exhaust may be coming

I am getting mine installed in as soon as they get back from florida.... I live in college park, and they are like 5 min away, so I am over there at least once a week.

Not with these cars with the tiny motors, usually just winds up sounding like a car with an exhaust leak wishing it were bigger.

Agreed....... if it was a v6 or v8 yeah the more cylinders give it that nice throaty VROOOOOOOOOM rumble.

my GF wants an exhaust on her V6 after hearing my cousin's friends mazda6 V6 with his catless exhaust setup..... it sounded pretty good nice mid throat VRRRRRRRRRRM to it.

Mike's car and speed6 killers car sound nice and throaty loud with the CPE turbo back.

any 3" dual will be too loud! yes even precious cp-e's DUAL. some of you are comparing the single cp-e to the dual corksport, the dual cp-e will be louder then the single cp-e if its left as unrestricted.

you can do one of two things... keep the stock exhaust on and rob yourself of hp's or give yourself those much needed hp's and deal with a loud exhaust.

I'm 70% deaf so the loudness doesn't matter to me.......its the getting pulled over part (boom03)

I am considering going with either the Corksport or the Magnaflow..... I've listened to the sound clips with the volume up, they sound pretty good.

I would go with CP-E, hands down, if I could but that's just too much money for an exhaust in my eyes :\ For the price of the dual I can get the magnaflow (and probably a corksport) and a downpipe

i dont care really care if its loud, i have a 65 mustang that i run with open headers most of the time.

i'm not a cpe fanboy. this will be my first cpe product, next will probably be the standback. i could careless who make it as long as it works, i like it and want it.

i drive a ft. lauderdale alot i never have a problem i mean if you are floored going from light to light on federal then i can see you getting pulled over but other than that i think you will be fine. the only problems i ever had was going down atlantic ave with it but they also have signs everwhere telling you not to so it was my own fault ya know.

Well I definitely don't haul ass like that, so it's good to know. Thanks man (alright)(drinks)

i really REALLY love! the sound of my car with my setup. it backfires tastefully, flows smoothly, and growls when needed. it really does sound awesome. magnaflow, CS DP, PG test pipe. i do recommend magnaflow, as i know it doesn't have any down side to it. and no i don't think a 3" dual would be any better or worse. i run equal or faster than m3's, corvettes, stage 2 wrx's, slightly worked STI's all the time. hell i even raced an rs6 and he couldn't leave me behind. i honestly don't think any catback available is better than the next, just sound preference IMO.

your setup sounds quite appealing bro, but compared to stock, how much loader is it when just driving around town, normal accel, and what not, and also on just crusing. i want something that sounds just like the stock one, just a bit loader and deeper though, otherwise i love the way it sounds, actually i think what i'm looking for is something like the autoexe mufflers, but 1100 for just mufflers is just insane.

can you post some sounds clips of your set-up?(rockon)

i wanted the magnaflow up until i found out it is 2.5 inch piping. 3 inch exhaust is a nessecity on a turbo car in my opinion because good airflow is key.

Who knows, I still may go with the magnaflow.

It's 2.5"? I didn't know that........ I was under the assumption it was 3" (hand)

Well that leaves me with either the options of going with corksport, CP-E or having my friend and his shop build me a custom exhaust... this weekend I'm going to see how much he'll charge me. he said anywhere from 300 to 600, my choice of mufflers and he JUST may be able to do a downpipe in there, but I like the way corksport downpipe looks, and I know of someone who has it and loves it.

it is VERY appealing haha. i will try to get some sound clips(probably be video though, i just got a used camcorder from my mom). i may even have my friend follow me in his dub up a canyon, so you can see me pop flames!! and hear it backfire hehe.

it is louder than stock, cruising is not loud though, nor is it too loud under easy acceleration. but when you go WOT, most everyone around will know it. it sounds amazing, porsche-like only a little different. it keeps the stock sound only you can tell it is flowing freely, and that sport car tone is enhanced.

so with the downpipe, test pipe and magnaflows you get a nice sound?

I'm definitely interested in hearing the video

do you have any pics of the rear of your car like a pic down near the ground, to better see your exhaust setup ?

my only exhaust pics

i'll get more, so you can see how the DP/TP/CB look underneath.
and ya i'll definitely work on a video for sound, its worth hearing. i've heard a couple cp-e exhausts, and they don't sound bad by any means. but i think mine sounds richer, and cleaner. of course its all opinion ya know

haha oh ya, I remember your car now..... the envy my speed with the cut out bumper........ nice nice........
