The BOV is called Turbosmart. It's an Australian brand also turbosmart have dealers in the states too.

Now to the TBE system.

No backfire
No CEL
No Fuel Cut

I'm very happy with the sound. Nice little rumble when just cruising. Also a big bark when laying the smackdown to a fool in a wrx.


Also alittle off topic guys, saves me making a new post. Those ETS top mount intercoolers, everyone goes for. Does the 3.5 inch thick core rub? I've herd some stories it does also you may have to change the engine mount? any truth to this? Or the 3.25inch core the way to go?

LOL if you came to the states northern or eastern you would without a doubt have a problem with fuel cut. I didn't start having the issue until fall came around. I have the same setup though and love it.

how hard is the install for your tbe? i dont feel like dropping the sub frame or cutting anything? thats what i heard you have to do. whats my best setup for removing parts before dealer visit cat back im sure but would comp. tbe be impossible to take off and re-install every once in a while by myself? im not super mechanic but if its just bolts and gaskets and i dont have to remove engine parts to get to it? im clueless please help.

The job is easy; just time consuming... There are no subframes to drop or anything like that...unlike the CBE. (lol2)

You will have to uninstall the TMIC, a subframe cross brace (4 small bots), and the factory DP. I did the whole job by myself; it just took me 9 hours to do it. I tend to take my time and be anal about details.
