The dealership have to prove that the intake is the culprit that is causing whatever problem(s) that you want the warranty to cover. It's part of the Magnusson act. The modification is innocent until proven guilty.

But they'll give you the run around until you either prevail or giveup. I once argued for an hour that it is impossible for an intake to blow my suspension. It varies from dealer to dealer.
