Counterfeit Money

BEDEVERE: Quiet, quiet. Quiet! There are ways of telling whether she is a witch.
CROWD: Are there? What are they?
BEDEVERE: Tell me, what do you do with witches?
VILLAGER #2: Burn!
CROWD: Burn, burn them up!
BEDEVERE: And what do you burn apart from witches?
VILLAGER #1: More witches!
VILLAGER #2: Wood!
BEDEVERE: So, why do witches burn?
[pause]
VILLAGER #3: B--... 'cause they're made of wood...?
BEDEVERE: Good!
CROWD: Oh yeah, yeah...

I think the time and effort everyone spent posting and replying to the question is worth more than the damn $1 bill, if it is in fact real.

JD Power and Associates passing funny money? That would make for interesting headlines. Hehe. Obviously, I'm assuming it came from them, since they're known for sending $1 with their surveys.

I think I should call the FBI and tell them our man crock has been using counterfeit dollar bills

Sir Bedevere: Does wood sink in water?
Peasant 1: No, no, it floats!... It floats! Throw her into the pond!
Sir Bedevere: No, no. What else floats in water?
Peasant 1: Bread.
Peasant 2: Apples.
Peasant 3: Very small rocks.
Peasant 1: Cider.
Peasant 2: Gravy.
Peasant 3: Cherries.
Peasant 1: Mud.
Peasant 2: Churches.
Peasant 3 Lead! Lead!
King Arthur: A Duck.
Sir Bedevere: ...Exactly. So, logically...
Peasant 1: If she weighed the same as a duck... she's made of wood.
Sir Bedevere: And therefore...
Peasant 2: ...A witch!

The top bill is the suspect. It is gone now.

Two out of 3 co-workers were convinced it was a fake simply because the paper was too crisp. One mentioned that it was "wood" paper and not "cotton" paper.

The vending machine took it on the first try.
I am now enjoying a nice 20 oz. bottle of Dasani water.

The name at the bottom of the survey is "Maritz Research, Inc."

sometimes i have seen white washed 1 dollars like that cause they went through the washer, lol

I've had money feel that way before. I got it from the bank though...it was wierd..it felt so fake, but indeed it was real, cause the clerk who took it was like "this feels fake man, I'm checking it"so I said"yeah I know it feels fake, I got it from the bank though" and then he checked it with the machine, and it was real...sweet.
