cost of P5?

Hi everyone, just a quick question. Is $23K CAD a good price for the P5? It is 5sp w/ A/C? What about the protection package? $500? are those reasonable prices? Just want to know before i go get my car.

Well mine has 5 spd, abs & side airbags, moonroof & changer, and leather interior. Got it for $17.3k US. That's invoice price. Not sure what the conversion is to Canadian.

I JUST PAYED $14,000 FOR MY NEW 2003 IN WI. IT CAME WITH NO OPTIONS BUT THE FREE SUB. I BOUGHT THE WHEEL LOCKS THE NEXT DAY. hOW CAN YOU TELL IF IT IS A 2003 OR 2003.5. MY WINDOW STICKER SAYS 2003. IT DOES HAVE BLINKERS ON THE FENDERS AND THE STICKER SAYS OPTIONS (SUB) NO CHARGE.

I'd say 23k is a bit high. MSRP should be listed on the webpage (www.mazda.ca). I think it was about 21K or so.

Definitely do NOT pay sticker...you should be very close to invoice price -- check out Edmunds.com. They're replacing the P5 with the new Mazda3, which should be out very soon. So they gotta move these cars fast!

Mine was like $14,000 USD. It has no changer and no sunroof, but it has the leather interior. Which was sooo worth it. The leather feels a lot more comfortable and luxorious.

i got mine for 17,400 us and if u have the sub then u have the 03.5 , the side markers dnt mean a thing

Same here.. well $180.. it was 1% over invoice and no dealer fees.

i got my 2003.5 for 13995 because my mazda dealership was going to get the mazda name taken from them (also a caddy dealership) and my pay off after my down payment is 11,320 i think and my payments are 250 a month at 6% int. 59 months

I beg to differ. Well, if the P5 is that special model listed at 23k:

***The Special Edition will include Black Leather Seats and Polished Alloy Wheels...

...then, I take what I said back. But if its not, then you're looking at MSRP of 20k-ish before options.
