CorkSport SRI Cold Air Duct

Capital Mazda is right next to me haha. anyways, CS said theyre currently out of stock of the air ducts. i already put in my order, but they said they'll be able to restock by the end of October hopefully.

We sold more of the air ducts than we initially expected to so we ran out. (eek2)

I had a feeling that would happen, lol. That's why I ordered right away.

Hey, is there any way to rock the duct without the CS on it? Is it a decal or something, or is it permanently on there? Being in CA, I'd like to look OEM if my hood gets popped, and the duct without the logo would be pretty hard to tell from stock if you're not used to looking at our engine bay, especially since it integrates with that existing scoop.

Max, It peels right off. I removed mine for the same reasons. And because I like that clean look.

Actually, lasering it could look pretty hot. Get that tone-on-tone look...

Been a while since I've even considered doing anything to my 2, but reading these reviews makes me really want both the duct and the intake. This summer in SoCal, we had some really hot temperatures. I had an aftermarket intake on my previous car and it made quite a difference in the hot months. Time to save some pennies....

I haven't gotten the duct yet but the intake sounds AMAZING. The sound alone is reason to buy it.

Installed mine the other day, highly recommend it. I drove for about 15 minutes and the engine light came on and said the car was running lean, so therefore it is working VERY well. I reset the ECU with my scan tool and I've driven it over 500 miles without it coming back on, so the computer has gotten used to all the extra air. The duct actually gave the car a few more hp, not much, but enough to make it pull hills on the four-lane a few mph faster. Definitely worth the money. Plus, it makes the engine bay look much more refined.

If the light comes on again let me know. We had someone else trigger a cel from the airflow improvement and clocking the maf housing to get the maf at the 12 o'clock position did the trick.

Sweet, I'll go ahead and rotate it. I think the light came on because I forgot to unhook my battery to reset the computer, but now that I reset it I think it has gotten used to the airflow. Thanks for the help.

Yep, always unplug the battery to reset the ecu. Drive nice for 100m, no WOT during that period. The ecu adapt pretty quickly to the new intake, I did all that on the MS3 and I had no cel

I unhooked it when I put the intake on but I forgot to this time because I had worked a 12 hr shift, drove 2 hours home, put the shocks and struts on backwards, took them off, installed them correctly, and then put the duct on...haha

I have been in that boat a few times, lol. Got the lefts and right fronts installed on the wrong side on one of my Rx7s many moons ago.

The fault was "Too Lean" or "Too Lean on Idle"?

Derrick what is the ID diameter of the MAF housing that you supply with the SRI?
