CorkSport SRI Cold Air Duct

Charley, no problems here. Tying the cable back worked great for eliminating contact with the duct. I've had the duct and filter on for about a year now and all has been good!

Any long-term updates from the owners of the SRI and duct? Have there been any further issues with check engine lights, battery cables, or problems related to depriving the ECU from fresh airflow?

Thanks in advance!

All good and no issues with the SRI/ Ram Air box. Still sound great and feel the added power ;) No engine lights

I never reinstalled mine after pulling it. I really want to run it, but I can't get a steady coasting idle when I lift, and the CEL would occasionally come on. Without the duct I have zero problems.

How do you have the MAF oriented?

I've had mine for awhile now and I love it. Not a single problem. All I needed to do with the wiring was bend down the bracket to gain clearance for the rear portion of the filter, and add some wire loom on the cable touching the end of the filter. On the rare occasions I can refrain from revving it out, mpg's are definately a bit better. Fortunately, I've found it doesn't sound nearly as loud outside the car as it does inside. I've got the CS exhaust with race-pipe as well.
