The final fitment verdict is as follows


Bad News:
The skid tray will not fit with an aftermarket ladder brace which bolts to the back of the subframe.

Will this fit the 99-00 subframe? The earlier protge did not come with a two peice subframe and will not work the gt spec ladder brace. I ordered one and can verify this first hand...

We have all of the trays done at one time so a no-hole version is not available.

It does not work with the 99-00 subframe. None of the rear mounting holes will line up.

Some of the holes in the tray are there to get the oil drained and be able to clean up the drips from pulling the oil filter.

This picture gives a good look at the rear where the bolts attach to the cross member.

I am interested, I have the GT Spec lower tie bar which replaces the stock one.....and I am worried it will not bolt on witout drilling and effing up the GT Spec bar.

Do you mean the 4-point ladder bar?

it looks like the outer ones will work if you put it under the bar! but the middle ones? idk?
