CorkSport has finished the exhaust camshaft we have had in development for quite some time. The price is $180 and the grind is based off of the no longer available Japanese Mazdaspeed Familia exhaust camshaft. We use a new billet for the production. Dyno testing showed a 7 wheel hp gain.

The dyno was on N/A. We have the camshaft in a turbo car in the shop which will be out and about shortly.
 
360$ and around 20whp for both cams...

So these cams, plus the SSAFC, plus the mods i have now i should be looking at about 150wheel? at the least?
 
The test car was putting out 166hp at the wheels with no tuner in the car.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention we added a dizzy drive for all of the older FS powered cars like the Mx6/Probe/626.
 
when you are saying this is "based off of" that cam, which one is it? there's 2 different kinds of MSF exhaust cams... there's the original "aggressive" type, and then TSB one which was detuned for idle stability... I don't particularly recommend the more aggressive one for a turbo setup myself due to the high overlap of that setup, but with the newer "TSB" one, it works great (my car pulls hard with the 2 cams)

if they're pretty much a copy of either one of those cams, that's cool... but if you guys did happen to make some changes to it I like to at least know that this was done just to be informed
regardless, I think you guys will sell a lot of these due to the demand and reasonable price for them

The profile is the revised Mazdaspeed exhaust camshaft version. I will see about some vids of the turbocharged car today. I have to get the owners permission first.
 
So even with the turbo car, this cam and the jspec intake cam will work well? Was any timing changed with cam gears or its just a drop in cam and all is good?

with the "advertised duration" specs provided to me by mazda (and the MSF service manual), was what you measured on your donor cam (I'm assuming that's what you guys did) close to the specs or was it way off?
