CorkSport FMIC Installed!

what's up people! i recently installed the corksport fmic and i have to say it's a very nice piece! Before the fmic i had the ETS smic and turbohoses hardpipes. Now i would like to point out the fact that i did not change from a smic to a fmic because of the lack of performance. my first setup ran very well and kept me very competitive on da streets. Mazpro, Jcell, Avarela86 can vouch for me on the performance. I had a buddy who recently purchased a blue 2003.5 msp and he love the way my car ran and he offered to buy my setup. I thought what da hell and I was ready for a change. I will admit though that seeing my friends Jcell Perrin fmic and Avarela86 fmic they do look gangsta!
Now for the installed and the product. The install went very straight forward and corksport gives you everything you need to complete the install correctly. you will NEED and tool to cut metal because you have to cut a hole on each side under the fender where the tow plates are for the pipes to pass through. that is probably the only challenging part. if you have the proper tool it will go fine. The product quality is very nice and the representatives from corksport communicate with me well for the purchase and shippment, and the product arrived on time.
Now for the perfomance. the car charactics has changed but for the better. when i had the smic the car was very peppy, very responsive, like a supercharger, my spool up was crazy fast. before i go on let me list my mods at that time: ETS smic, turbohoses hardpipes, injen sr, atp wastegate, forge bpv, vibrant exhaust with hks hiper carbon ti muffler, denso ik22 sparkplugs,d2 coilovers. so like i was saying my spool up was crazy fast. Now the same mods just corksport fmic instead of the ets smic, oh and a aem dry flow fliter instead of pepboys special. the car is defeatly more beastly. I have a lot of more top end than with the smic. with the smic i had great low end and midrange. now i have great mid-top end range. It also raised the boost a little too. i usually stay between 8.5 and 9 where i was just 8 before..
so to sum it up i love my fmic and corksport did a great job on the product. now it's time for a little more boost and EMS;) stay tuned! I want like to give a major shout to Avarela86 for the help and the install and shout to Mazpro for some help and tools. Thanks a lot fellas and holla back!

Is your HKS muffler a cat-back or did you weld it to the vibrant exhaust?

it's a vibrant exhaust with a custom mandrel bent rear section to the HKS. I love the vibrant exhaust, i think it's a well made piece for our cars and i'm a huge fan of HKS. when you put them together you cant go wrong. if you want to hear it check out this website. http://www.mazpro.com/videos
you will see a drop down box and mine is deuce's rev and deuce's run thru gears.

Nice...how long did it take for you to install?

it took longer than usual because we took breaks, got food, had to run up to home depot for some tools. but i'm guessing it should take about 3 to 4hrs. the cutting took a little bit. you just got to have the right tool to cut metal but other than that everything goes smooth.

What did you need to get to cut the holes? Did you just use a hole saw? I'm currious about what needs to be cut.

You could have just purchased the Hiboost FMIC kit and avoided all of that cutting. Am I right?

the mean that kit with the very long and unnecessary piping? the one Deuce had a long time ago that was nothing but headaches?

i have a perrin FMIC, so i'm definitely the wrong guy to ask that question, i have two big holes on the radiator support, lol
