CP-e Review:
Engages the clutch in an extremely solid way. Vibrations are minimal...easier to grab gears.
Make sure to torque them 68 ft/lbs. Keeps the engine planted during hard shifting..you don't feel
the engine moving when puting in gear.

Corksport Review:
Best fitment/mod. After researching for a couple of months and posting polls in several forums
I am please with the sound and no earth shattering, mirror shaking drone nose...just the right amount of exhaust for me...80mph 3200rpm you have to know what your wanting to hear to catch the sound of the exhaust.
I love the sound down shifting...If a boxter engine and a LS1 were to get married that would be the sound you would hear
and corksport is their love child. Quality is awesome, had to adjust hanger on the left muffler so it wouldn't hit our exhaust inserts.
It's a tuned exhaust basically, not a ricer want your attention type of exhaust. When you listening for it you will hear it, but if your and avg. driver
commuting through traffic you don't notice it...When you gun it..it's there and people turn heads. I have not yet made any alarms go off but then again I didn't try.
Has a nice vibrato burble to it. 7k rpm come in much quicker and a shot of adreneline kicks in. Rating between 1-10 it's a 10. No excess vibrations, brings out the animal
in our MS6...should have came with it factory...I love it!!!

Enjoy the pics!!!

is the corksport exhaust the quietest?? I need the added exhaust flow but i really dont want something loud and annoying when at cruise on the highway.

From researching around for a 3" cat-back I accumulated that it is the right one for me. I was going for performance and not obnoxiously , annoying loud...and I got this exhaust, and I like... the white ms6 on the pic he has the cp-e single w/test pipe, and yes that's louder than my corksport. Drone's too.

wow that all looks great! The mount looks much easier to install than the other one that I have seen on here. Did you need to put a jack under the motor?

Also the exhaust looks awesome! I think the cool thing about mazda is that they have such straight shot exhaust! I have had hondas and there are so many crimps and turns with their systems. But not so with mazda! About how much was this system? I think that is the one that I am wanting!

THe corksport was 699.99 forgot how much the cp-e engine mount was. yes did have to put a jack on the motor.

Have you noticed an improvment in MPG after the exhaust install? I am considering doing exhaust to mine, only if it improves the MPG, that way the wife will allow it haha.

Thanks.

I would have to concentrate real hard on shifting before 3k but I have seen improvement on daily driving.

Ive had both a LS1 and a boxer 4 , not sure how the MZR would sound like a combination of them two... since they are both very distinct and deep... Any sound clips? Looks great!

How did you adjust your hanger to not rub on the beauty ring? Mine rattles on the passenger side a bit when idleing. Also did you instal any type of test pipe in place of the cat or do you just have a straight pipe fromt the DP?

currently that is just cat back, i'll be getting a downpipe shortly. as for it not rubbing you just have to bed the hangers a bit, it does hit sometimes while turning but no big deal.

i was the other dude helping with the install. using the corksport provided gaskets caused leaks at the flanges. we removed the gaskets the next day and used some liquid gasket stuff... no more leaks.

have you checked for leaks recently?

A buddy put my MS6 up on the racks today and there are no leaks from the test pipe back. The way the tips from the mufflers out to the beauty rings head out have a slight bend in them and cause them to be a pain when aligning one side then to the other. It doesnt rub now but still one side is more centered then the other. Oh well lol.

i did my corksport exhaust in about an hour and a half on jack stands. took the stock one off by myself then had help putting on the corksport.

We bent the hanger up, and my left one touches now and again , but since I've put miles on it, it went away. I only have the cat-back I still have the oem stock cats.

so to the OP, i take it u put the exhaust on yourself? how hard was it to do..

It wasn't hard...just tedious getting the correct alginment for the tips. I didn't use the gaskets, I used the liquid gasket that expands when they heat up, that solved the leaks the first time we isntalled it. My advice, don't tighten everything up so that you'll have room for give when aligning the tips.
