toothpick internals?
lol so pushin near or at 200hp at 9 or 10psi doesnt run the risk of poppin a rod?
you know i thought the same (scratch) about the 30th time back i hit 15psi...all the way to 6500 rpm...(evil)

If you are asking what are the risks of running 15psi, maybe you should put the boost controller away for awhile.
Everybody knows the size of our connecting rods, the lack of forged pistons, the already high compression rates, and the poor ecm tuning. If you think that you can run 15psi with no type of saftey netting (wether it be better fuel, removing timing, water injection, etc.) you will be asking for trouble. Now I'm not saying you haven't done anything, but it only takes one time and boom!!

are you saying that im a noob and dont know what im doing?
lol (encourage ....lol i posted that because i want to know what he has to say?
i want him to tell me something that i dont know?.....the motor is not as weak as people make it out to be....

I defiently agree, you just have to be careful and always over protect when possible. BTW, my cars faster than yours, lol.

DiscreetSpeed,

the dangerous thing about a lot of boost is that the engines always run great right until something breaks. Don't get me wrong i am not saying that your car will blow just that it may hell when we were turbo charging 2.5 rs's back before the wrx some of us blew several motors and well others didn't and ran tons of boost and that was with 10:1 compresion. some of the cars broke in stock form though so you never know. aslong as you are ok with the fact that it may break then have fun with it until it does and if it does just build it better next time.

in the end i want to see more info....how this ebc works and how we can get upgraded maps....also i want to know the maps on these ecu's will support more then the 9psi they tuned it for...dont assume u can cus they may have leaned out the fuel alot etc ......(stooges)

25 crank hp?

i think corksport has pics on their site....25 crack hp is weak sauce man..for that price at least...

(stooges) Not tryin to start s***... But likely it was a chasis dyno which measures WHP. 25 WHP is a descent gain.... (drinks) This is a great product for beginner tuners (silly) But for experienced tuners wanting serious HP, they should get a stand alone. If your experienced with tuning any engine you should know to take small steps and check all the details. My dumb ass learned the hard way by blowing to quad fours. ME AND MY FIRST Z24> (blowup) Then me and myself afterwards!> (scratch) (bang) (cryhard) If that is not 25 WHP gain though, it is overpriced and I wouldn't waste my money on it, but if it is you could probably get close to 15 more WHP with complete intake/exhaust system. (drinks) PS: Opinions are like assholes...Everyones got one, and they all stink! (outie)

mattybo-

You were right when we were discussing tuning costs. I just talked to my buddy and his tuning cost $200/hr, and I think I said tuning was usually $100-150/hr. Figured I'd clear that up since I was pretty convinced otherwise.
