Cool Video of Speed3 at Nuburgring!

This is the ONLY reason I need to go to Germany...I used to play Gran Turismo 4 til my hands were sore racing on this course...DAMN I need some tickets and a fast car!!!!

WOW! What an amazing car. Watching her pass some bikes with ease and carry 140mph straits !!!

Thanks for the vid.

Great video. Wish there was something like that in the U.S. Only $25 a lap!

It would be shut down after the first bad wreck with our namby pamby rules.

Responsible for your own actions? Whats that!

Yeah...I was thinking about that to myself. Someone would sue for getting hurt on the track and it would be over.

Watching that video scares me. I don't think I'd have the balls to run that strong...but I suppose plenty of seat time in fast cars would change that. I'm sure the locals know the track by heart and after 2-3 turns in a car they know exactly how fast to go.

Nice. Brings back good memories of GT4.

There are a few races I could still finish.(drive2)

I know...that's the ONLY reason I still want a ps3...and to me GT4 is one of the greatest video games EVER.

heh. Indeed.

I'd imagine having to fill out complicated, legally-binding, loophole-free paperwork beforehand (that also includes plenty of personal info) might take care of that ;)

And what happens when some crazy punk tries to pass you and runs you off the road instead...who's responsible then? Does that happen at Nurburgring? You could come around a corner and see a joy-rider going 100mph. If you're going 140 you've only got seconds to maneuver and pray to god the other driver doesn't do anything stupid.

that was awesome... but as others have said it will never happen here

to comment on what chuyler just said one of the main things in europe is drivers have a better sense of being aware of their surroundings whereas over here something like you just said would probably happen in the first day but in europe the slower car would politly move over and let the faster car pass when appropiate

$25 a lap...i'd be there every day after....well maybe even before work! ya, can you imagine something like that in the states! the track would be full of hondas!

Personal Responsibility.

The nurburgring can be a dangerous place. The people paying money to drive on it know that they are taking their lives into their own hands.

Truth is, Germans are MUCH better drivers than Americans. They KNOW slower traffic stays right and they KNOW that you are only supposed to pass on the left.

Btw, any corner you can do 140 around is more of a gentle sweeper and unless there is a blind dip (in which case you should be slowing down anyways), you should have plenty of time to react to them.

When you pay your money to run on the ring, you are responsible for yourself. No one holds a gun to your head and forces you to drive on it.

You check your mirrors, watch your speed, obey the laws of traffic, and have a heck of a good time.

Its no different than being at a track day...except this is the coolest public track EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

I want to drive both this and Laguna Seca before I die.

Yeah, Hondas getting the doors blown off em!

But seriously, if such a place existed in the states, It would SERIOUSLY put a dent in my spending money.

Me to the Wife: Honey, I'm running off the the Nurburg........I mean the grocery store!

I'll be back with bald tires....umm I mean the groceries!
