For somebody to state blatently that Europeans are better drivers is retarded. I'll put my record and ability against anybody you'd like. Yep, Germans are so much better on the roads that they had to make it illegal to motion with your finger, there's somebody to look up to.

It's that feeling of superiority of (dare I say it?) us, Americans, that is dangerous on the road. We tend to make a competition out of just about everything. *^_^*

Look I love America. Thats the reason I immigrated here. Americans are not the worst drivers in the world. Russian drivers worse (but not by much) but German drivers on the whole are better than American drivers.

Better at staying in their lane, passing on the left, letting faster traffic by, and focusing on driving not text messaging while putting on makeup and eating breakfast.

German drivers as a whole are ABSOLUTELY better drivers than Americans. Why? Any retard who can breathe can get a driver's license here. You can clearly see that on the road any day. In Germany, the tests are VERY STRICT and it takes a minimum of 3 months to even make it to a test....which most drivers fail the first time.

Frankly, the driving standards in this country are pathetic, but fall in line with a short-sighted way of lilfe we lead in the US. It's one of the many reasons gas prices are high and people keep bitching so much.

States like CT, finally, have at least raised the minimum driving age, but haven't made testing as difficult as it should be. I don't have any faith in our lawmakers in the US to grow a set of balls and make strict lessons and testing a requirement across the board ever.
