Convincing My Wife

My wife and I are now driving a Honda Civic because my wife got into a crash and the Mazda5 is in the Body Shop. I can't believe how pampered we were by the Mazda5, especially that the Civic we are driving now is the base model. No auto climate control, no auto headlights, no auto wipers and no keyless entry. Plus, the driving position and the seats on the Civic is much lower than the Mazda5 that we both don't like it. I feel that the Mazda5 even drives and accelerates better than the Civic. I didn't really appreciate how much better the Mazda5 is to many cars out there, whether it be the driving or the features it has even on the GS model, until now that we can compare it to another car.

I miss my Mazda5, i hope it gets fixed soon...

So do I, auto climate control, auto lights, and auto rain sensors (even though a third of the time it's a bit wonky) are features I don't think I could ever live without in my next car. I like driving low sometimes in my Celica when I feel the need for speed, but the Mazda 5 definitely has a much more comfortable driving position.

I'm glad you two are ok and I hope the 5 wasn't damaged too much! How much longer before you get it back?

Tell her the bigger the vehicle she drives, the fatter it'll make her look!!

I'd rather be in a Sienna than a doghouse...

Fortunately my wife was not injured in any way, the truck tore out the bumper and headlight. They were turning left at the same time and the truck turned into my wife's lane, she stopped when she saw the truck's too close but still got hit. The body shop said it may be done in two to three weeks depending on how much damage there is.

Thanks DKaz and KBrian, appreciate your concern.
