BTW, for anyone interested... if you're like me and you use iPod for all your music, not having an iPod solution can be a bit frustrating.

However, while I wait for solution I decided to at least take my favorite playlists and turn them into MP3 CDs. Easy to do if you haven't bought music from iTunes, which I have.

SoundTaxi will let you convert your purchased music with DRM to MP3s so you can make MP3 CDs.

I pick up my CX-7 tonight and already made two MP3 CDs with SoundTaxi... I'll let you know how it works (I don't expect any problems). SoundTaxi was easy to use and converted MOST songs without a problem. Out of 40 AAC protected iTunes files, only 2 didn't convert.
