Consumer Report's take on family sedans

the latest issue of Consumer Reports they test the Fusion, Milan (4 and 6 cylinder), Charger (V6 and V8), Sonata (4,and 6cyl), Impala (V6) and Passat (4 and 6cyl). According to the article, they seemed to like the V6 Fusion and the Passat the best out of the cars listed above, however, they only recommended the Impala because the Fusion and Passat dont have reliability data.

Below are CR's ranking of vehicles based on a number of factors including all aspects of handling, comfort, ride quality, ergonomics, interior quality, cupholders, etc. Of cars tested, Consumer reports then "recommends" a model based on reliability and crash data. A car that does poorly in these catagories or is too new to have data in these catagories will not be recommended. Here are the rankings: (scores are out of 100)
