okay heres what i did,
unpluged disty so that it wouldnt fire then did
every cylynder one by one turning the motor over
with the gas peddal down.

rear head 1= 130psi 3= 130psi 5= 150psi

front head 2= 172psi 4= 165psi 6= 172psi

so im thinking my timing is off.
i have colt cams 218 race grind
and interprep springs if it makes a diffrence.

you can pour about a teaspoon of oil in the low cylinders and retest , if it comes up it is probably rings. if it doesn't it may be valve or timing related. the front head doesn't look too bad though.

Could be a bad head gasket, valves that are not seating properly, bad cam timing on the one head. First thing I would check is the cam timing then recheck compression. You may have to yank the head off and have it checked.

from the looks of the numbers i am inclined to agree , has it been hot lately? try the compression test again with the oil and see what happens.
