In australia our cars have a compression of 9.7:1 where as the american cars have a compression of 9.1:1. i am interested in buying the wagner intercooled kit. it should fit into the aussie car alright. but because of the different compression will it stilll run ok. what side effects will the differnt compression ratios have on my car.

Thanks in advance.

You will definitely have more power on/off boost, but you won't be able to boost as high a psi as you could with lower compression. Do you plan on getting Wagner's AEM?

wont work! I think you should immediately switch engines with me so you wont have that problem! hehe j/k shout work fine just be careful with the boost levels...

well thats what i thought. some people when they are boosed want higher levels of compression. i am not going to get the aem i will just stick with the basic intercooled kit.

would i be able to run 6psi safely. i don't want to boost it up to like 10 cause i don't want to smash my engine. just want some good power with high reliablility.

does anyone else have any ideas. i have emailed andy a couple of times but am struggling to get a response
