Thanks go out to Tru-boost and TRZ for bringing this to fruition. We have what we feel is the best rear motor mount solution available for the Mazda3 and Mazdaspeed3. Your choice of Delrin or Poly bushings, chrome-moly tubing and precision TIG welds combine to make the strongest and most effective "dog bone" style mount. Test units have been racking up the miles on several vehicles with great effects. The design going into it avoids the potential pit-falls of two piece mounts, bushings made of lesser materials, reworked stock mounts and weaker metals in other mounts. Generally, everything that we didn't like about the other mounts we looked to improve upon or eliminate here :D

Retail on the motor mount is going to be $99.95 shipped and it will be available for sale starting today at ProtegeGarage. This mount will be exclusive to PG and TRZ motorsports and is the first of many high quality exclusive products for the Mazdaspeed3 you'll be seeing us launch this year. For an example of the kind of work TRZ does, check thier site http://www.trzmotorsports.com/. I'm going to attach a picture for everyone to look at and let Tru-boost chime in as he has done the most extensive testing to date on it.

consider yourself teased. :D i am not a fan of talking about product before its ready or close to it. surprises are much more fun.

awesome!! cant wait to get my Delrin mount! could have used it today since im going to the strip but its ok - it will be for end of the month track event :D

i will not go into to many details on the things to come. but there will be a new intercooler option for sure... details on this are coming soon. there is one other piece in development.... but i'll wait to see how the initial prototype test goes before i say anything.

the mount is by far the best thing out there. i set out to have a better mount made after shredding my AWR mount. we researched all the other mounts on the market... all of them had some sort of short coming or what we felt was a design flaw. so we designed the UBER mount ! 1 piece super strong roll cage material. solid delrin for the purist racer. and a very firm poly for the aggressive street driver. we went through several prototypes before we got what we liked. the mount has greatly reduced my wheel hop and makes shifting smooth as glass. it is a great mod for a great price !

Help a newb understand this better...
I bought my speed3 about 2 months ago and I'm pretty sure it came with the motor mount recall. When the AC is on, I do get more noticable vibration than with it off.
1. Did the recall stiffen the rear mount?
2. If it did, how would this upgrade compare in terms of vibration and tightness?
3. What do you recommend between the Delrin or the Poly bushing? How is the feel different and how does it compare to stock?
Try to be as clear and complete as possible. Much thanks!

the thing i like about this mount is the that nut is welded on. i think su should have done the same.

Sorry man, don't mean to be totally obtuse, but...
Whats the diff between stock, delrin, and poly? What do you recommend?

the stock mount is just bad.... every ms3 should replace it. the rubber that is used to help support the engine in its place is no even solid... it has holes in it !!
the poly mount is what i recommend for most... its actually on my car now !
it will give you noticeablr vibrations... but it is really not bad at all. we have shown that this mount will aleviate 90% of the movement that the stock mount allows.
the delrin is more for the balls out kind person. (i have one of these that i swap in when i go to the track ) it will give more vibrations than the poly, but in all honesty, is very streetable. the wife may not like it (mine doesnt !) but it really only feels rough at very low RPM's. or at stops with the AC on. we have shown this mount to relieve about 95% of all engine movement. one mount can never fully secure the driveline, but ours comes pretty damn close !

Since this mount is for the 'aggressive driver' as you recall, how would you compare the vibrations at idle, or with the ac on with the awr 88 mount?

at idle our mount feels very similar to the AWR88... i know this for sure.
i tried both duro AWR mounts on my car. it is surprisingly smooth considering the amount of support it delivers.
