Comming to Tampa FL -- Need some help

So yea Im going to Fl end of july out to clearwater. Not much to do out there, visiting a friend in Orlando. Are there any decent clubs in the Tampa area?? If so what type of club is it and what kind of music. I reallllllly wanna go to Miami for Crobar but probly wont have enough time


Then what part of clearwater beach is a nice place to stay south/north side of beach??

don't know whats around where you are going, but Miami is pretty far from where you will be...but Crobar is awesome and so is the rest of south beach..luckily I know a girl down there that gets VIP access at Crobar, so I get to chill upstairs everytime I go there...

Yea Iheard Crobar down there is amazing ! We have a Crobar here in Chicago (Im from Milwaukee) and thats only abut 1 1/2 hr drive. But well worth it. That's the original Crobar been around for years !! The old Crobar was kinda nasty like a warehouse but soooo much energy then they remodeled when they opened up in Miami

At Clearwater--Shepard's --Has tiki bar looking at gulf, nice resturant and also nice club.

Thats about it for clubs. There is one right acros the causeway in City of Clearwater. When on Cleveland make right onto Alt 19 you will see the club to the left.I never been there.

Other kick ass spot is Ybor City which is like 20 minutes or so from Clearwater....

There is a lot more stuff to do in Orlando. If you are visiting a friend there, you'd be better off staying instead of driving over to Tampa.

Shepards is on Gulf Blvd. Its on the southside of the island. When you get to the big circle go left the road splits go right past the beach then boom it is on your right.

Ybor has many clubs and bars. There are several techno/House music clubs. During the day its dead after nine ten o'clock it is a party area.

I know you are staying in Clearwater but if you stay overnight in orlando there are alot of clubs there too.

Also I am the kind of person that never stays in a hotel when on vaction. If you are like that get a hotel on the bayside or in the middle. Some look like dives but much cheaper. The ones on the gulf are money. But if you have money and want to spend the money on that then do it......

Hey we were going to originally stay in Orlando. But then started to think hmm my friend still has to work the week we are there. And we dont want to stay at cocoa beach. And we wanna be on the beach were from milw thats part of why we are co0mming, and clearwater seemed the best, we'll probly drive up by her later in the day to Orlando.

Well I was at expedia and all of those and you can get beachfront hotels on there with airfare total for about 800$ (to me thats cheap and good price) Then were getting into disney for free which is always a perk !!

SO Id guess i say south end of clearwater beach is a good place to stay?

Let me tell you now the Gulf Temp is 88 degrees...
Make sure you kick your feet in the water it is sting ray mating time...

I would stay in Orlando by UCF (I can recommend any level of hotel you're looking for or maybe even get you a discount at Marriott) & then drive to Cocoa. I hate the sun, so I wouldn't know, but most of my friends say that beach is awesome.

Cocoa is alright. The beaches here finished in the top 5.

4 Clearwater Beach

No East coast florida beaches......

Yea I heard Cocoa beach is known for Surfing.. And ha I dont know how to surf Id probly drownd!!!!

Ybor City is always jammin. There are so many clubs on 7th ave. Mostly hip hop with some techno. Its Definitly lots of fun anytime you go down there.

hmm def a hottie in the sig(please disregard if this is your gf and you are over 6'4)...at any rate if you're staying at the beach you're going to want to stay right around the pier 60 area. Its a mix of high price and budget hotels on the ocean and its walking distance from shepards. South is Indian rocks and belaire(very pricey). Shepards is the place to be on sundays, you can lay out on the private beach and have pina coladas brought to you from the tiki bar, other than that its overpriced and trendy for night entertainment. Ybor city is def where you want to be for night life over 13 different clubs playing everything from hip-hop, to techno, to salsa. I can get you and your friends VIP access to the majority of the clubs in Ybor if you give me a little advanced notice of when you're coming to town. If you're more to just be at the beach the whole time, let me know I'm always up to throw a group together for the beach, or bringin out the boat and seadoo for some riding...

You can get stung but it does not hurt to bad. Just do the sting ray shuffle. It scares them away.....

if you get to ybor city go to club hedo it's techno, and club sky is the biggest club around here it's mostly hip hop there's usually around 4000 people per night fri and sat.
