cant ******* wait. i was going to go to the bahamas in november, but my friend is going to be in strategic debriefer course then, so instead this four day weekend coming up were going to vegas!

give me a ton of suggestions!

How many people are going
Are there kids
Are wives/girlfriends coming along
Are you guys looking to see shows or hit clubs

after that, suggesting spots to hit should be easy

1. Buffets..... Excalibur is great.

NIGHTS of the Round Table is pretty cool, if you have your girl with you or family

2. Shows are always fun but a huge waste of money.
3. Party hard.... hit up clubs, PALMS (Rain, or Ghostbar)

Definitely recommend Cirque du Soliel's Zumanity at New York New York to "Activate" your "Friend"

first things first, say hi to my money for me..

second.. if you're going to see any shows, check out the half price tickets shop on the strip near MGM/Coca-Cola.. from there you can buy tickets at half price for that night's shows only (when the show isn't sold out, they try to sell it out by reducing the price in half).. i suggest seeing Danny Gans if you like a really funny impression comedian. I believe he is at the Mirage.

third.. check out the Three Card Poker table and if you're not hooked by the end of the first night, you're doing something wrong.

have fun, I envy you!! I haven't been there since April, but I'll be back in January!! :D I just wish it wasn't a 4 hour flight for me, or I'd be there more than twice a year.

Zumanity is the new Cirque du soleil show.. kind'a Artsy fartsy circus s*** with a whole lotta skin ... women come out dripping from it .... never a bad thing.

Oh wait, your here for 4 days... man, your not going to even know where the time went.
yea i figure that, but hell, it beats sitting around in the barracks all goddamned day for four days.

btw - i dont need to see any skin or the ******* bunny ranch lol - im going with a woman.

I went to Vegas last year for a week, and it was over waay to quick...I felt like I really didn't accomplish much. So much to see, and with it being my first time, it was kinda overwhelming. I look forward to going again sometime soon.
From what I saw, I recommend the watershow at the Bellagio, and it you're into this stuff, the Gondola rides at the Venetian was cool, and cheap. At least hit up the major hotels just to walk around, and check out all the shops and stuff.

When you live here it just becomes another day in the life of a local. It's nice having a town that never sleeps, and now that I'm in the mortgage broker business, it's nice being the #1 city for home sales, and in average increase in home value of almost $100,000. Anyway, just do as much as you can. Visit the casinos, walk the strip, go to freemont street and check it out.

freemont street ("The Freemont Street Experience") is the "old" strip that you see in the old 50's vegas rat pack movies.. it's where the older casinos are located, included Binions Horseshoe Casino where they do the World Series of Poker that is on ESPN2.

Freemont used to be the place that people would cruise down, now you can only walk down it. My dad and his buddies used to cruise down it and pick up on chicks, hehe! It's just a cool place to go walk down and get drunk and have some fun.
