what color did yall use to paint your piller for the guages? stock # i am haveing a hard time finding the correct color

I am getting the A- pillar pod my self, and I was also wondering which color? The color of that A-pillar looks to be hard to match.

Hey trekv2 are you from Snellville, GA?

Hey Excessive are you gonna be at the meet on Saturday?

yea man im from snellville, Ga . ive been to 5 diffend paint places and no one can help on that color.

one word ... search

Here's a quote from another thread (ganked from Unwound):

you gotta paint it! i got a triple pillar from autometer and i painted it with SEM color coat spray paint it matches the other pillars identically. the color is light titanium and the color number is 15353. i got this idea from a guy who did it on a p5 (cannot find the thread to give him the props). i bought mine for $6.13 plus shipping from Vinyl-Pro of Western Pa. (do a google search and you'll find the webpage). got it a week later and it looks great. unfortunately, i don't have pics.

Here's the thread:

The painting supplies I used came from www.eastwoodcompany.com and the stuff you need is part number 52042 and 52072. This gets you the cleaner and primer in a kit and the warm gray paint that matches almost perfect. Unless you put it side by side you can't tell any difference from accross the car.

i just got my 15353 in the mail today from Vinyl-Pro. they shipped it fast! i am working on painting my pod and molding it to the a pillar so no pics yet. but it seems to match up...kinda...the nozzle on my can is a POS that sprays in an uneven pattern but thankfully i have other nozzles to use.

i got lots of nozzles.. fat caps.. skinny caps.. german outlines..... ohhhh.. heh.. nm *

well anyways, i just finished painting the pod. the color is a little lighter than the actual a-pillar, im hoping it will get darker when it dries. here are the pics

Dex come on out to Naperville, or St. Charles and take a peak at my pillar and see how it turned out. It's almost perfect. http://www.msprotege.com/vbb225/attachment.php?s=&postid=196496

It's a new car, don't go cheap.

I have been thinking about painting all the pillars in the car black. Has anyone done this yet?
