Cold Idle Issues and Stalling In Neutral?!?

Before I take it to the dealer, I was just curious if anyone else had this happen to them. It's happened a few times to me already and I'm just a slight bit concerned. During cold weather (less than 32 degrees) and early morning starts, I notice that the idle is not as high as it should be, say, 1000 versus 2000 rpm. But worse off, I shift the car into neutral, let off the clutch and the car lurches forward slightly and stalls...IN NEUTRAL! After it stalls, I start it again and it's idling properly but when I let off the clutch you can still fill it surge forward but doesn't stall. Any one else experience this? And any one have any ideas what's happening here???

for me, it was a faulty High Pressure Fuel Pump

I had something very similar in my 07 about 6 months ago (at 7k miles). It would run fine some days and worse others but sounds the same as you've describe (I first thought it was flooding)
Once the car warmed up a bit it would run just fine and I wouldn't have any problems for the rest of the day. After 17 days at the dealership they replaced the High Pressure fuel pump and I haven't had a problem since (now at 25k miles)
