Sorry I am new to this, and do not know much about this kind of stuff!!! <- Noob!!!
BKK Jack said:No worries. A lot of us are new to this, I have only been here for a couple of months. That is why we are here, to learn from the vets. Everyone has been really tolerant so far.
That being said, I have been reading posts from both sides of the fence for awhile, and am also a little worried about the water issue. Although I am 95% sure it shouldn't be a problem, that 5% is enough that I am probably going to get a short ram vice the CAI. I think the gains from either system are similar enough that the piece of mind of having the intake higher with the SRI makes it the better choice for me.

MM3Canuck said:1.What is an 'air bypass filter'
2.How does the stock air filter manage to be safe in wet conditions?
3.What do you guys recommend: AEM, Injen, K&N?
(poke)
MM3Canuck said:BUT, what does SRI stand for?

This answered all my questions and concerns.
I will probably ( once i get the $$$) get a K&M CAI, due to the ability to transform to a SRI.
I can not wait to get one installed! (cool)
THANKS AGAIN
Cheers
