Same here.. debating if $500 is worth adjustable dampening n front camber plates.. probably...

It's a tough decision. The roads I drive here are not that rough but the camber plates are definitely a plus. It's either STD or ST's for me. I'm leaning towards ST's however.

Trust me, it is MORE than a plus on a Macpherson-equipped car. :)

With the ST you will be stuck with the OEM top mounts (not as precise as a pillow-ball) and you will fell the lack of precision... Plus you will be stuck with our stock camber range, and you willl LOOSE suspension travel as you lower the car because ST's are fixed-body. Lastly, the ST are fixed damping, so no damping adjustements. The only real quality of the ST is the very tough construction and superior shock valving (but at the expense of adjustable body-lenght, damping adjustability, pillow-ball mounts, camber-plates and scaled body).

So what did the OP decide on?

Right now I'm still saving up.. I've got about 600 bucks on the side. I should have enough for the Standard coilovers by thanksgiving...but I am 90% sure I.'ll go with the corksport adjustable shocks and either h&r springs... eibach springs.. or corksport springs if they are low enough. This is where I stand right now..barring any surprises from corksport. This is one of the toughest mod choices I've had to make.. mainly because nothing is really proven. I do want to say THANK YOU to everybody who Chimed in on this thread. I learned a lot and hope others find it useful as well.

Honestly, I doubt you could have gone wrong either way. The corksport adjustables should be a good choice too, and that's the route I plan on taking given the current options available. I want to get the intake and exhaust done before doing more suspension work though.
