Coil overs for street only car

The H&R coilovers are GREAT for daily driving. They ride very well. I prefer a full setup if any lowering of the car is involved. I dont like running JUST springs, so as soon as I could afford it, I got coilovers. If you plan on keeping it stock height, then just stay stock with the suspension, thats always the best for a DD

+1 My experience from my Subarus and Hondas with springs is that eventually (and always sooner then later) the dampeners will degrade and ride quality will go down. I've always had to eventually move up to coilovers or shop struts which are not exactly easy to match to springs.

At least with (most) coilovers, dampers are built with adjustability in mind, and the dampening is rebuildable.

what did you pay for your coil over set up? i see the advertised prices but what did you actually pay?

If you are asking me then I bought mine from Street Unit a long time ago when they still came with the camber plates standard. I paid a little under 1k, I received a slight discount for making a large order. I wish I would have known Import Image sold them, I know Josh personally and he can cut you guys a great deal on the BC's if you wish to go with them.

How much is a great deal?

With the BC's I know adjusting the front dampers are pretty easy to adjust but what about the back ones? I have seen that it is hell to adjust the MS Coilovers in the back.

Those aren't even needed really. You can reach the rear adjustment knobs through the taillight access panels.

I can see that working with the drivers side tailight, but the passenger side also? That's a tiny little hatch.

You guys put them stiff for street? I put them at 1 all around on street with my Tein SS.

I believe the Tein SS's have 12 way adjustable dampening. I've got BC coilovers and I think 30 way is way too much. Shoot, I wouldn't mind going like 5 way adjustable dampening, it's a lot easier and either way, you got full coilovers for a reason....
