My own personal taste, but I look at putting "COBB" on my car or any other brand names of parts as free advertising for parts companies. Sort of like the crap the dealer puts on your car, and the license plate frame, only cooler than that I suppose, but still.... Is your car a rolling billboard? Are you racing and need sponsors? Are you getting any contingency money hauling ass to the grocery store? I would roundfile that s*** and leave my car clean looking as possible, but that's me. To each his own though.
Also, not to slam anybody or any brands, but when I hear or read COBB first thing I think of is corn cob. What do people who don't know who COBB is think it means? I know.... you might say you don't care. Old people think it might be your name. That's kind of funny I guess - paint your last name on your FMIC. Or what about low riders who put their city name on their cars? You know like Michoacan?
I guess it all comes down to, if you think it's cool, do it.
