co2 sprayers

as the title says, liquid co2 sprayer for the fmic....how effective are they and wouldnt you think it would be easy to make one. only thing is wiring switches and sprayers. just a thoughthttp://www.designengineering.com/products.asp?m=sp&pid=72there is a mass produced one but 500 bones isnt lookin so pretty.

I bet it would be pretty easy to wire up, but I bet finding a solenoid that can operate at that temperature is where it'll get difficult.

yea , i was looking that up, i would like to get the water in the extra reserviour cold. looked up a peltier device (gets to 5 degrees F) , but that would take some tinkering with.

Damnable Frenchy, I believe the cooling is done as an evaporative and fluid temp is not as important as is it's ability to conduct heat away. Just making stuff up at this point. Look into the methanol injection. offers a cooler charge temp and should allow you to advance ignition without detonation. a bit more theory crap. Are you using this for the track or street?
