I've seen a post a long time ago with the different clutch we can put on our 1.6L.

Just wanna know where i can find some different clutch cause i'll maybe done an N/A setup with my 1.6L

thx

i really have no idea what you are talking about but i wanted to respond b/c nobody has gotten back to you yet. I am buying a clutch kit off of rockauto.com the only one that they sell as a kit for like a 137.00, this includes 2 bearings, pressure plate and clutch disc and alignment tool. That's all i need I don't race or anything like that.

I've heard that the clutch of the 1.6L Miata should fit on our 1.6L but I haven't verified that yet. I'll keep digging and see what else I find. Oh supposedly the flywheel from the Miata also fits.

it is great, really huge improvement over the stock clucth...i kept the same flywheel (just resurfaced it).
since i am not racing the car,the SPec stage 1 is plenty enough...anyway,i love having it!!!
i also replaced my shifter with a fidanza short shifter and a stainless steel clutch line.
my next upgrade will be the tokico struts and springs set.
i also installed some BREMBO SPORT rotors and Stainless Steel brake line...

Yeah mine's starting to shudder a bit when it's a bit cold outside. I figured since I'm going to replace my clutch I'd also get a lightened fly wheel.

i was going to do it too,but i found a thread somewhere (can't remember where right now)saying that too light might not be a good thing.

that's for a 2.0, we have the 1.6L. I read somewhere a while ago that we can use a Miata 1.6 lightened flywheel, not sure and have not heard about anyone doing it.

Is the car shuddering or the clutch?
How would I know the clutch is done for or has to be replaced?

you can feel it when you change gears, when it starts to slipper a little, then it is time to change it.
anyways, it is good to change it if your car has over 80000 miles. mine has 114000 miles

I can feel mine shudder when I drive the car for the first time in the day. It's only initial and very slight but I can tell because I'm really used to my car. After it heats up it works okay. My car's got over 89,000 mi 30,000 of which are because of "very spirited driving".
