Clutch Issues?

Recently my clutch pedal has been making an odd noise. It doesn't happen every time I press the clutch but sometimes it makes a poping noise, similar to a sound like when someone pops their knuckles. I can feel it against the pedal when it does it also. It's not a serious problem I'm sure but it annoys the hell out of me that it does it and that I don't know why. The car has a little more than 45k miles on it. If anyone has any info on what it might be or has any suggestions, let me know please. Thanks

bump. I am having a somewhat similar sound. When I let the clutch out it makes a pop sound at a really slow speed in first. It only happens in first gear.
