Clutch burnt

UPDATE: Mazda dealer called up,

The clutch is covered under waranety, usally they only replaceit once. It is burnt up all the way. Because of this something else happend to the transmission so it is not covered under waranety. Anythoughts?

That same thing happened to my car last week except I was on a street. Nearly flipped out cause it was like I was stuck in neutral but it finally caught about 30 secs later. I'm thinkin I might go to the dealership and have them check it out after reading this post.

Wait, because the clutch burned up prematurely, they won't cover the other damages? That's bulls***. Unless you admitted to them that you just held the clutch pedal down 24/7, it's gotta be fully covered. Let's say my headunit started making a weird whining noise when I had it turned on.. I turned it up to listen to it and it blew a speaker. Does that mean Mazda only covers the radio and not the speaker? Hell no.

It's time to b****. I'd be more than happy to be used as an example here, seeing as how my initial clutch went out at 12k and my differential completely split from my car around 31k.

Screw that.

and they called again today, "we talked to mazda usa, on your behalf, they are standing their ground and will not cover it"(this was on my machine)
the ***** still havent even given a straight awnser as to whats wrong with the car

800.222.5500. Cal and talk to a representative and be sure to ask for their ID. Explain the situation cooly and tell them everything that's gone on. it's a bit better than trying to deal with a dealership.

UPDATE: The dealer said they talked to mazdausa, and came up with this deal. They would take apart the transmision to see what is wrong with it. If it is broken gears they would replace them and then I would have to pay to put it back together. If its a broken driveshaft I have to pay for everything... I said NO (who wouldn't?)

I just read this post and I am very dissapointed at Mazda, your dealership needs to get things straight, go there in person, if you don't have a ride call a cab and have them pay for it. No way can they make a stupid deal like that, I would want my dealership to say something like that to me, cause after i'd be done with them they'd be giving a new car.
Go down there and have them call mazda on a speaker phone so you can hear the conversation and comment.

Vik.
