Hey guys, I am looking to do new clutch and flywheel. I think I am going with the mazdaspeed clutch, but I dont know if I should do mazdaspeed or fidanza flywheel as I do not know much about them. Anyone shed some light?

you really don't need a new clutch unless you plan on making alot more than stock horsepower. as for flywheels as long as it is lighter than stock you will feel a difference. mazdaspeed is generally overpriced for not top of the line merchandise. i'd go with the fidanza flywheel.

Well, me and my cousin are going to be building my custom turbo kit late this summer, so I want my clutch and flywheel on before I start it.

I ordered the mazdaspeed clutch(not the flywheel) and am still waiting for it to get here. They told me 4-7 buisness days and after i ordered it they told me 3-4 weeks so i'm kinda annoyed. But i'll give more info after i get the clutch and put it in.

if you are going turbo then that is a different story. i personally wouldn't use mazdaspeed because they rip you off in price.

Thats what I figured. I was already leaning toward the fidanza flywheel. Anybody know of any other clutches other than mazdaspeed for our car yet?

Get the lightest flywheel you can find...personally, I think that's a big contributor to the low-rpm power deficiency we have, especially with the 2.0.

only to a point... i wouldn't go to light b/c then you have a hard problem being able to use it as a daily driver... from what i have been reading and from talking to others anything considered a race flywheel is not for daily driving and those are usually less then 10lbs.... our stock is around 25lbs i believe so if you can find one around 10 i think 15lb loss at the crank will be a very sig increase but still be drivable....
