MAzda won't buy your car back. Not going to happen. only way that will happen is if it's proven that the cars cannot be fixed. I mean all of them.
The guy I'm dealing with through Mazda has been really nice so far. In all fairness, He seems to be doing what he can. I can tell you that my father had some issues with a Honda way back, and Honda never gave him the time of day(he's driven Honda's all his life, and is a very big Honda guy), so the fact that they are at least trying to do something is nice, I'm just wondering if it's going anywhere???
I have another meeting with this guy mid next week, in person this time, I am pretty sure there is not going to be any new news next week, as I am guessing a fix is still quite some time away. Designing a new back end suspension fix, testing it, and fabricating the proper pieces has got to be time consuming and tedious.
But, from my personal point of view, I've been doing this dance for 20+ months, and I'm wondering if there's going to be an end. their probaby will be but is my patience going to last that long? I'm hearing all positive things from Mazda of Canada, but not seeing anything happen. This is not their fault, I'm in NF, and someone else's car is the guinea pig 2500 kms away, so that person is watching the progress 1st hand. Had I given my car to Mazda like they asked, sure I would probably actually see more 1st hand.
So, patience is key, something we all need. I wouldn't go so far as to say that the MP3 is s***. It is one of the best cars I've owned. The suspension problems are the only gripes I have, and if they can fix the clunk crap, I think that will solve 80-90 percent of my problems for sure, and I can start enjoying the car again. Of course, I'm selling it, so i may not have it anymore once the fix comes out.
Question is, will I be driving a Mazdaspeed then?????
