I was finally able to get to the dealership today to have the new bushings put on. During a previous bushing replacement visit, they told me that they put more tape between the bushing and the bar because the previous failed bushings wore off the paint and made the diameter of the bar smaller and not as tight of a fit.
When they told me they were ordering the 156E bushings for my MSP, I suggested ordering a new sway bar too....and after a small amout of convincing (and Dist. Cust. Service Mgr. approval) they agreed.
Soo, as of 9:00am on this 19th day of November, 2003, I have a new sway bar with new 156E bushings. I'm in Southern New England, soo I'll update with any changes I encounter in the cold or warm and wet or dry weather on the not-so-smooth CT backroads.
