i bought my car from kramer mazda. Is it okay to bring my car to north hill and let them fix it under warranty?

Ya it is ok? I was going to go to Sunridge but then North Hill started to actually take me serious so I stayed with them.

Do you have the Mazdaspeed? or the MP3? We should meet up for a cruise or something =)

i have the mazdaspeed for 3 months now, i like it alot compare to my civic si. I just saw one mp3 in calgary before, which part of calgary you live?

Question for everyone on the forum. I noticed that my car is dripping WATER from the engine near the back of the motor. Is anyone experiencing this same problem?

Any clue as to what it is? I know it is not a puddle that I ran over because it has been hot here the last couple of days.

I going to guess this is probably condensation that is building up on the AC unit.

Yes, that's exactly what it is. Just make sure it's not anti-freeze. If it's just water, then it's from the AC.

I had the puddle before on a hot day, my gf's brother mentioned it, had a heart attack, then realized what it was ^^

they are still the old part numbers........... just that hes getting the whole setup replaced..

yep still the old #'s. Ive got my whole setup replaced too.

doubt it. thats why they arent making a true fix. they'll just keep replacing setups until 3/36000 rolls around.

they dont care it seems:(

HOPEFULLY it IS a fix thats coming in sept.

call mazda usa and demand an extended warranty at no charge, at least for this one particular part...7yrs 100k miles should be good.

Thanks for the feedback on the AC! =)

As for some of the other questions:

-I live by the NE
-My dealership is going to honor any complaints that I have with the clunk because I have brought it up ever since I got my car.
-I will most definitely keep all of you posted on the fix that is coming out in September.

I have been told by both the dealer and Mazda USA that when a permanent fix is finally found, they will replace the bad ones nomatter how many miles are on the vehicle. If they need to be temporarilly fixed in the mean time, they will also do that regardless of miles. My buddies MP3 has like 60,000 miles and they have already replaced them. They have actually done other work under warrenty even though he is over the miles because of all the problems he has had.

Just an update for you guys/gals.
After several sets of bushings, I had the WHOLE setup replaced; incl. the bar, bushings, endlinks, etc. and its been averaging 90 degrees or so, and the clunk is back with a vengance only 3k miles later...unreal. another trip to the dealer for an oil change and bushing replacement! blah

scott, try doing the fix someone listed b4 about putting a small piece of rubber between the swaybar and the frame. It helped mine go away.

I'll see what they say. Thanks paul. They have tried everything else so far, I can't imagine they wouldn't try that.
You heading down the shore this weekend? Brendan Borek surf contest Sat. with $20 B&B and G. Love on the Beach. We did the whole pig roast thing at our place last weekend. You missed out :)
