Cloth Seats

Went to test drive today with the family. My wife is worried the cloth seats on the GT Sport will "pill" as they wear, especially the black areas at the edges of the seats (not the two-tone centre areas). Anyone have any experience or advice?

Pill?

As for experience ... the car hasn't been out very long. I've had mine for a exactly a month now and obviously there are no problems.

I know the P5's cloth seats are different...But when the charcoil interior was new...Many said that the stitched areas would rip/stretch/wear out...I have never heard a complaint about that in the last two years from any owner....Mine has over 50,000 miles with absolutely no signs of stretching ripping or wear at all...They still look like they did when I bought it...

So with that the cloth will probably last as long as you own the car...

I'm going to go with sunlight here and reccomend leather. I test drove a cloth car and didn't like the red or blue and really disliked the texture. I felt like scrubbbing something with those seats. I opted for leather, and while it isn't Regency soft like an LS 430, it is an improvement, and only a $590 option. Check out a leather car if possible, it was worth it to me.

Yeah, techincally leather's reasonably priced. But don't you have to get the ABS package in the US to get the leather?
