Clicking noise from front seat

I searched but did not find anything. I am getting a clicking noise from the front passenger seat at highway speeds. I reclined it one notch and it went away for a bit but now its back. I am sure its the seat mechanism or something in the seat clicking. Has anyone had this happen? Has anyone figured out a fix?

Thanks!

Try adjusting the seatbelt buckle by the centre consol (passenger side of course). I used to have a clicking/squeeking/creeking noise and couldn't figure it out for the longest time. What I did was just push the buckle all the way down and it stopped. Now it's just habbit. Trial and error.

Can you explain a bit more? The buckle is just pushed down further on the holding arm or what? My squeek makes me crazy and I've tried several things.

I get the squeek from the front passenger side too. Sounds like it comes from the seat. I've been too busy to check it out and I usually just pump up the music to drown it out. lol

I have found that cranking the Kenwood is the best solution to the 100 million wierd noises the MSP makes. Unless the noise is your ****** up torn sub.

Hi I am having the same problem on my Mz5 too and its driving me crazy... I tried looking underneath the front passenger seat and the noise comes from there when you hit the passenger front seat, Pls. help!

what do you mean by "push the buckle all the way down"? I even hold the belts and hit front seat, but the noise is still there sounds like a noise coming from the wires underneath.

Pls help! Thanks!
