Does anybody know where I can get these clear bumper lens'? I've been looking everywhere and I can't seem to find them. I've seen them on some P5's but, where did they get them? I have a white 2003 P5 and that amber lens just doesn't look right, can someone pleae help me find these?

they dont make them for the P5...the ones you see on a P5 are from RX-7's or a Celica. but they need a little mod to fit and they dont fit perfectly. correct me if I am wrong.

i've installed the lens your talking about and you're right, they don't fit perfectly. i've got one on and i'm trying to think of a way to motify the piece so it fits flush to the car. i do like the clear look though.

$160 for a pair??

Talking about these:

yeah, there are JDM clear front bumper lights for an RX7 that are supposed to fit in place of those. They run 159 for a pair. There are some aftermarket lenses put out by other companies, but they tend to be the diamond type of lens vs. a white lens.

Hello my fellow MP5 owner's,
I appreciate all your replys, I just have one more request can anybody sent me a pic. of a installed clear lens? What year are the lens' form on the Celica and the RX-7?

One more thing how are Progress Spring? Does anybody have these springs on their P5? How is the ride?

Hey,

There is a post out there with instructions on how to insert clear bumper lenses. I believe he used the Eclipse lenses. You can pic them up for cheap, cheaper than $160.00. If I find the post I'll let you know.

hmm, interesting.

clear would look much better than the stock amber ones. These are street legal right?? they also sound a bit hard to swap out in case you ever gotta go back to mazda for any warranty work.

yes, any pics of clears installed?

kinda OT but i found some JDM talilights which look pretty cool too.

matching clear bumper lights and tailights, lol =P

I used the celica ones they are for the 2000 and up celica. It fit flush but there is a slight gap between the light and the edge of the hole for the stock light. If you have a midnight blue or black p5 you won't see it. if you want close pics click the www button on the bottom of my post and look at the page there are a few closer pics.

Yeah Impact you gotta tell us where you picked up those Celica Lenses...

i called the celica dealer in sac.. 44 bux for both lights.. i suggest calling the toyota dealer in your area but since it is a special order part u will have to pay for it up front. -=(

I picked up a pair of the clear Celica lenses from Streetbeatcustoms.com.

I have a black PR5 and the gap between the bumper and the lens was just to much. If I could find a rubber grommet to sandwich between the bumper and the lens then I could get this to work.

Our side turn signals have a rubber seal around them between the fender and the lens... Why not the bumper lens?

Do the RX7's have a rubber grommet for their clear lenses?

My other thought is this. The stock amber lens is made by Stanley. Part # P2009. ANYONE know a good place to see if they carry our lens in clear? Stanley.com is not available yet...
