Whats the best way to clean a flant panel montior? I just got a Dell 19in screen and don't want to damage it. But I want to keep it clean.

I use a special cloth (like the ones used of Oakley Sunglasses) and some glass cleaner. I spray the cleaner (light amount) on the cloth.

I've found that the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser found in grocery stores and such work exceptionally well.

NEVER USE GLASS CLEANER!!!!!!

If it has ammonia in it (like most glass cleaners) it will fog up the plastic and RUIN your monitor!!

Use a soft cloth and PLAIN WATER.

I stand corrected.... I use a kit....that has a cloth and a small spray bottle that is orginally designed for my Oaks.... I checked the contents of that bottle and (thank fully) it does not have ammonia.

Actually they sell some stuff for Plasma screens and whatnot at higher-end audio/video stores, you could check there....who know's best buy might carry it too, I know my brother in law uses Monster Cable's brand cleaner on his screen in his car.

Sure you can buy solutions that are safe for LCD monitors, but water is cheaper! I've been cleaning my LCD panel monitor for several years now with plain water....works great!
