Well ,pretty much like the title says I cleaned up my car today to prepare it for the coming winter.
First up was a good wash, then a clay bar to remove all the grime and old wax, and for the first time (for me) a piant sealer. After seeng a friends Acura at work I and being impressed I decided to use a product called "Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0".
Let me say this, this stuff is awesome. My friend spent several hours buffing his car with the wolfgang polishing compound before applying the sealant on his car, but he bought it used, it's black and it a few years older than my MS3. I've owned my car since new and have only washed it by hand. It get clay barred twice a year and I've been using P21S wax on it with no abrasives.
My friend let me borrow his buffer just in case, but looking at the car after the clay I decided it didn't need it. I applied the sealer, let it sit 45 minutes then took it off (easy wipe off).
Awesome. Words don't describe it. Not only does it look like glass, it feels like it too, even smoother than after the clay bar and better than my usual wax. Plus this stuff is supposed to last 4 to 6 months. My buddy with the Acura usually uses pinnacle wax (the P21S and pinnicle waxes are both excellent) and he thinks the Wolfgang does a better job too.
Pics are enclosed.
